Cookie Policy
Which cookies and similar technologies UltimaTrader uses, why, and how you can control them.
Last updated:
1. Introduction
This Cookie Policy explains how UltimaTrader (“we”, “our” or “us”) uses cookies and similar technologies on the UltimaTrader website at ultimatrader.com, the UltimaTrader web application (the “cabinet”) and the UltimaTrader sign-in service (the “Platform”). It forms part of our Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service.
By accessing or using the Platform, you consent to the use of cookies and similar technologies as described in this Cookie Policy.
2. What Cookies and Similar Technologies Are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, such as your browser's local storage, keep information on your device in a comparable way. They allow a website to remember information between pages and visits.
3. Cookies We Use
We use only strictly necessary cookies. We do not use analytics, advertising or social media cookies, and we do not use tracking pixels.
The website at ultimatrader.com sets no cookies of its own. Its fonts and other resources are served from our own servers.
When you sign in, the UltimaTrader sign-in service at auth.ultimatrader.com sets two cookies that keep you signed in. Both are strictly necessary, HttpOnly and Secure:
| Cookie | Purpose |
|---|---|
| __Host-br_access | Proves to the Platform that you are signed in |
| __Host-br_refresh | Renews your sign-in so that you stay signed in between visits until you sign out or the session expires |
These cookies can be read only by the sign-in service over an encrypted connection. Scripts on web pages, including ours, cannot read them, and they are not sent to any other website.
4. Local Storage in the Cabinet
The cabinet stores two items in your browser's local storage:
| Item | Purpose |
|---|---|
| ut-demo-id | A random identifier used to generate the demonstration figures shown during early access |
| signals-view-mode | Remembers how you prefer to view signals |
These items stay on your device and are not sent to us.
5. Third-Party Cookies
If you choose to sign in with Google, Google may set its own cookies on its own domains during sign-in, under Google's Privacy Policy.
Cloudflare, which delivers and protects our websites and services, may set strictly necessary security cookies to protect the Platform against abuse.
We do not control third-party cookies.
6. Managing Cookies
You can block or delete cookies and local storage in your browser settings. If you block the strictly necessary cookies, you will not be able to sign in to the cabinet. Deleting the local storage items resets your display preferences and the demonstration figures.
7. Changes to This Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time, for example if we introduce new features or technologies. The updated policy is published on this page with a new date. Your continued use of the Platform after the update means you accept the updated policy. Where the law requires your consent for a new type of cookie, we will ask for it before setting it.
